GSE’s solution for reactor core modeling, REMARK™, a 3-dimensional, 2-energy group, time dependent, diffusion theory model has been successfully implemented on dozens of full-scope nuclear power plant simulators around the world. GSE is also cooperating with Studsvik providing S3R core model if desired by the customer.

Our solution for thermohydraulics modeling, RELAP5-HD™, is developed based upon RELAP5-3D, the standard code for nuclear reactor designs. RELAP5-HD is designed to run natively on GSE’s real-time executive program.

Due to the U.S. export license constrain of RELAP5-3D Engineering Analysis Code, GSE developed an engineering grade thermodydraulics model, THEATRe™, to fulfill the needs of modeling the thermodydraulics of nuclear power plant primary systems. It has been successfully implemented on numerous simulators.
